Cancer is a disease type in which abnormal cells form in different body parts of the patient and multiplies without control. This multiplication of abnormal cells results into their growth and the cells then invade the other tissues of the body.


To spread to the other body parts, the cancerous cells make use of the lymph system or the blood in the human body. Cancer is a single name that represents more than almost 100 types of disease in which the body cells are affected. If the cancer is left untreated, it can result into deaths or serious complications.

There are various types of cancers named after the organ of damage. For example, the cancer occurring in the esophagus is known as the esophageal cancer.

•    Immune system


Symptoms of Cancer:


Like the causative agents of cancer, usually the cancer symptoms depend on the type of cancer or the place of formation of the cancer cells. The symptoms prove helpful in detecting which type of cancer has been formed.

Some of the common symptoms of cancer are as follows:


•    Weight loss (unintentional)
•    Bowel changes
•    Pain
•    Fatigue
•    Loss of strength


The medical term and disease known as ‘Cancer’, is a very vast subject. In order to avoid formation of cancer cells in our body, we must be well aware about this vast subject.
