Plastic surgery

The plastic surgery is divided into two types: Reconstructive plastic surgery and Cosmetic surgery. The reconstruction plastic surgery deals with the reconstruction and improvement of the patient’s appearance, while the cosmetic surgery focuses in the improvement of the aesthetic appearance of the patient.


Plastic surgery:
Plastic surgery aims at replacing, reconstructing and repairing the physical defects. It corrects the physical defects which includes the correction of external genitalia, trunk and breast, extremities, hands, structures of craniomaxillofacial parts, musculoskeletal system, skin etc. Plastic surgery involves the enhancement of such body parts.

Some of the types of plastic surgeries are:

•    Rhinoplasty: Reshaping the nose
•    Cheek augmentation: Reshape the cheekbones by way of implant
•    Blepharoplasty: Reshape the eyelids (upper or lower)
•    Otoplasty: Reshaping the ear
•    Chin augmentation: Reshaping the chin
•    Liposuction: Removing fat from body parts
•    Abdominoplasty: Tucking the tummy for making the abdomen firm

Cosmetic surgery:
The procedure of cosmetic surgery is a surgical procedure in which the surgeon corrects or improves the abnormalities of disfigurement related to the patient’s physical appearance.
The method of cosmetic surgery is a very broad aspect which offers the surgery of reconstruction after the patient has faced a problem of physical trauma or any kind of burns on his body. The cosmetic surgery can also be used for smoothening the wrinkles, reshaping the nose as well as for breast enhancement. In the olden times, cosmetic surgery was used only for grafting the skin, treating the birthmarks on the body, reconstruction of dislocated eyes, repair broken jaw etc.

•    Enhancement of Breast
•    Tummy tucks
•    Botox injection


The plastic cosmetic surgery has become a very common type of surgery which is usually undergone by film stars, model, accident prone patients etc. It is not of any harm unless it has certain worse side effects on the patients.
